Favourite Places to Sleep

I thought I'd list some of the places I prefer for a good old fashioned sleep, which is of course so important for a busy cat such as I. The sofa is always a good place, especially when waiting for the humans to come home and feed me or to go to bed. I prefer the smaller, slightly harder of the two my humans have supplied for me. Outside I used to quite like going to sleep beneath my bush, until it got cut back. Now I'm not too sure about it. There are still plenty of nice shaded areas around the garden though. Back indoors I've recently taken a liking to sleeping behind the TV (there's nothing worth watching anyway; no snooker at the moment). There's an air vent in the wall back there and it tends to be nice and cool in the summer months. It's one disadvantage is a lack of comfort. Too many wires and a hard floor (I'm not adverse to curling up on the floor mind, just not a place I'd normally spend too long). Get a bit disturbed when the TV suddenly comes to life as well. If I want peace and quite then I'll go upstairs and work my way into the wardrobe. There are plenty of clothes to snuggle in there and it's quite possible to hide far from the open door. Of course the very best place for a sleep is a bed, especially if one of my humans is in it too to give me a tickle.

I'm Playing Now

I don't think Ian was too pleased to discover that I'd decided to have a go on his Playstation. Shortly after this picture was taken, I showed off my cat like reflexes in beating him at Fifa 2004. His reactions just aren't up to it you know.

Well, that's one way to relax I suppose. Think I'll go for a sleep now though, so much nicer and it doesn't upset the humans as much (well, as long as your careful where you choose to sleep).

Gardening

My humans have been cutting down big bits of my garden. I'm not sure I like this. It had become something of a jungle where a cat could hunt in peace. Now they have really cut back one of my favourite bushes. I don't think they've finished yet either. It's all very well making it all look nice but I do hope they give consideration to my hunting ground. They'd better leave me plenty of shaded spots to go to sleep in as well, or I won't be at all pleased. Although, I suppose if everything isn't quite so bushy, it might just make those birds and mice easier to get to...
